Registered Behavior Technician Class (RBT)

The Junior RBT Training Class at Verse Won Academy is an engaging, career-focused learning experience designed for students ages 13–17 who are interested in psychology, behavioral health, education, and working with children with special needs. This class introduces students to the foundational principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, communication, and real-world behavioral support concepts.

Students will learn introductory skills related to behavior management, professionalism, communication techniques, data collection, teamwork, ethics, and client interaction in a fun and supportive classroom environment. The class is designed to help build confidence, leadership, responsibility, and early healthcare career exposure while encouraging compassion and positive social development.

Throughout the Class, students participate in:

• Interactive classroom instruction
• Behavior observation activities
• Communication and social skills exercises
• Team-building projects
• Professionalism and workplace readiness training
• Introductory ABA and behavioral support concepts
• CPR/Basic Safety awareness

This junior class is intended for educational and career exploration purposes only and does not provide official Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or authorize students to practice as licensed professionals. Students who complete the program receive a Reward of Completion from Verse Won Academy recognizing their participation and achievement.
